Claims
- 1. A stage lighting unit comprising:
a plurality of lighting subsystems including motors, at least one of said motors controls a color of light, and another of which controls pan and tilt of said unit; a first controller adapted for control of said subsystems, said first controller including a plurality of output ports, at least some of which output ports are connected to said lighting subsystems including motors, said first controller formed from a programmable gate array, configured to include at least said plurality of output ports, forming said output ports of said first controller.
- 2. A lighting system as in claim 1, wherein said programmable gate array is a field programmable gate array.
- 3. A light system, comprising:
a digital micromirror device; a thermoelectric device, in thermal contact with said digital micromirror device; and a control structure which pulse width modulates a drive to said thermoelectric device.
- 4. An apparatus as in claim 3, further comprising a processor, which detects both front and back temperatures of said digital micromirror device, and controls said drive based on both said front and back temperature.
