Claims
- 1. A powder spraying apparatus comprising:
- a spray nozzle for spraying a powder onto an upper surface of a substrate from an upper side thereof;
- a moving means for causing movement of said spray nozzle in x- and y-axis directions relative to the substrate by moving said spray nozzle such that the point where the extension of said spray nozzle intersects the surface of the substrate draws a zig-zag locus; and
- wherein said moving means comprises a reciprocable slider, means for reciprocating said reciprocable slider in first and second opposing directions, and a first oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider and to an end of said spray nozzle for swinging said spray nozzle back and forth relative to said reciprocable slider in third and fourth opposing directions perpendicular to said first and second opposing directions.
- 2. A powder spraying apparatus as recited in claim 1, wherein
- said means for reciprocating comprises a second oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider.
- 3. A powder spraying apparatus comprising:
- a spray nozzle for spraying a powder onto an upper surface of a substrate from an upper side thereof;
- swinging means for swinging said spray nozzle such that the point where the extension of said spray nozzle intersects the surface of the substrate draws a zig-zag locus; and
- wherein said swinging means comprises a reciprocable slider, means for reciprocating said reciprocable slider in first and second opposing directions, and a first oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider and to an end of said spray nozzle for swinging said spray nozzle back and forth relative to said reciprocable slider in third and fourth opposing directions perpendicular to said first and second opposing directions.
- 4. A powder spraying apparatus as recited in claim 3, wherein
- said means for reciprocating comprises a second oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider.
- 5. A powder spraying system comprising:
- a powder spraying apparatus including a spray nozzle for spraying a powder onto an upper surface of a substrate from an upper side thereof, and a moving means for causing movement of said spray nozzle in x- and y-axis directions relative to said substrate by moving said spray nozzle such that the point where the extension of said spray nozzle intersects the surface of the substrate draws a zig-zag locus;
- a powder supplying device for continuously supplying said powder spraying apparatus with a powder at a constant rate together with air for spraying said powder;
- a powder transportation pipe interconnecting said powder supplying device and said powder spraying apparatus and having a length to diameter ratio not smaller than 20; and
- said moving means comprises a reciprocable slider, means for reciprocating said reciprocable slider in first and second opposing directions, and a first oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider and to an end of said spray nozzle for swinging said spray nozzle back and forth relative to said reciprocable slider in third and fourth opposing directions perpendicular to said first and second opposing directions.
- 6. A powder spraying apparatus as recited in claim 5, wherein
- said means for reciprocating comprises a second oscillation link mounted to said reciprocable slider.
