Claims
- 1. A method of printing with at least two printing plates, or their equivalent, one for printing halftone dots and the other for printing a solid background colour, characterized in that the halftone dots are surrounded by the background colour and are separated therefrom by a gap when printed in register, as well as the background colour fills in interstitial spaces between dots separated by more than a few thousandths of an inch.
- 2. The method of printing with at least two printing plates as defined in claim 1, wherein each printing plate has been obtained by exposure through a separation film or its equivalent.
