Claims
- 1. A process for preparing Antibiotic W-10 Complex which comprises cultivating under controlled aerobic conditions in an aqueous nutrient medium containing assimilable sources of carbon and nitrogen an Antibiotic W-10 Complex producing member of Aeromonas sp. W-10 until a composition of matter having substantial antifungal activity is produced and recovering the Antibiotic W-10 Complex from said medium.
- 2. A process according to claim 1 wherein Aeromonas W-10 NRRL B-11053 is cultivated for from about 48 to about 90 hours.
- 3. A process according to claim 2 wherein Aeromonas W-10 NRRL B-11053 is cultivated for from about 48 to about 72 hours at about 28.degree. C., at a pH of from about 6.5-7.0 and recovering Antibiotic W-10 Complex therefrom.
- 4. A process according to claim 3 including the step of separating antibiotic 20561 and Antibiotic 20562 from said Antibiotic W-10 Complex.
