Claims
- 1. An instrument for measuring spectral data and including a diffuser for collecting radiation and means for measuring the radiation collected by said diffuser, said instrument being characterized by having a broad band detector for detecting temporal anomalies occurring during spectral measurements, said diffuser being an integrating sphere with a 180.degree. field of view and a cosine response.
- 2. The instrument of claim 1 wherein said means for measuring said radiation includes a monochromator and a circuit for converting the radiation measured by said monochromator into a signal suitable for computer use, said instrument further including means to compensate for errors internal of said instrument, and a continuous source of reference illumination for continuously calibrating said instrument.
