Claims
- 1. An isolated polynucleotide which encodes an antibody heavy chain, wherein said heavy chain comprises a humanized variable region, the amino acid sequence of which is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 20, SEQ ID NO: 21, SEQ ID NO: 22, SEQ ID NO: 23, and SEQ ID NO: 24.
- 2. An isolated polynucleotide which encodes an antibody light chain, wherein said light chain comprises a humanized variable region, the amino acid sequence of which is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 25 and SEQ ID NO: 33.
- 3. An isolated polynucleotide which encodes an antibody which has a heavy chain and a light chain, wherein said heavy chain comprises a humanized variable region, the amino acid sequence of which is selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 20, SEQ ID NO: 21, SEQ ID NO: 22, SEQ ID NO: 23, and SEQ ID NO: 24, and said light chain comprises a humanized variable region, the amino acid sequence of which is set forth at SEQ ID NO: 25 or SEQ ID NO: 33.
- 4. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 3, wherein said humanized variable region of said heavy chain is set forth at SEQ ID NO: 21 and said humanized variable region of said light chain is set forth at SEQ ID NO: 33.
- 5. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said amino acid sequence is SEQ ID NO: 21, and the nucleotide sequence is set forth at SEQ ID NO; 30, with the proviso that nucleotides 69-71 are replaced by nucleotides which encode Thr.
- 6. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 2, wherein said amino acid sequence is SEQ ID NO: 33, and the nucleotide sequence is set forth at SEQ ID NO: 32, with the proviso that nucleotides 226-228 are replaced by nucleotides which encode Phe.
- 7. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 1 in functional combination wills a promoter sequence.
- 8. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 2, in functional combination with a promoter sequence.
- 9. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 3, in functional combination with a promoter sequence.
- 10. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 4, in functional combination with a promoter sequence.
- 11. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 5, in functional combination with a promoter sequence.
- 12. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 6, in functional combination with a promoter sequence.
- 13. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 1.
- 14. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 2.
- 15. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 3.
- 16. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 4.
- 17. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 5.
- 18. A host cell transformed or transfected with the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 6.
- 19. A host cell transformed or transfected with the expression vector of claim 7.
- 20. A host cell transformed or transfected with the expression vector of claim 8.
