Claims
- 1. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR18## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,
- a compound of the formula: ##STR19## a compound of the formula: ##STR20## and a compound of the formula: ##STR21##
- 2. A refrigerator compressor according to claim 1, wherein the compound of the formula (1) is at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR22## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 22, and compounds of the formula: ##STR23## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20.
- 3. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR24##
- 4. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR25##
- 5. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR26##
- 6. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; said alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR27## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,
- a compound of the formula: ##STR28## a compound of the formula: ##STR29## and a compound of the formula: ##STR30## and the alicyclic epoxy compound being selected from the group consisting of:

- 7. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR34##
- 8. A hermetic refrigerant compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft and a refrigerant in said compressing means, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR35## wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
- 9. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR36## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,
- a compound of the formula: ##STR37## a compound of the formula: ##STR38## and a compound of the formula: ##STR39##
- 10. A refrigeration apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the compound of the formula (1) is at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR40## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 22, and compounds of the formula: ##STR41## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20.
- 11. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR42##
- 12. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR43##
- 13. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR44##
- 14. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; said alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR45## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,

- 15. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR52##
- 16. A refrigeration apparatus comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups and said refrigerant being selected from hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR53## wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
- 17. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR54## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,
- a compound of the formula: ##STR55## a compound of the formula: ##STR56## and a compound of the formula: ##STR57##
- 18. A refrigeration cycle system according to claim 17, wherein the compound of the formula (1) is at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR58## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 22, and compounds of the formula: ##STR59## wherein n is an integer of 1 to 20.
- 19. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR60##
- 20. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR61##
- 21. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; the alicyclic epoxy compound being a compound of the formula: ##STR62##
- 22. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is at least one member selected from the group consisting of an alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether and an alicyclic epoxy compound; said alkylene glycol diglycidyl ether being at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formula: ##STR63## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkylene group; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1 to 22,

A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR70##
- 24. A refrigeration cycle system comprising a hermetic compressor, a condenser, an expansion means, an evaporator and pipes for connecting these devices and cycling a refrigerant therethrough, said compressor comprising a closed vessel containing a lubricant composition at the bottom and housing therein a motor comprising a rotor and a stator, a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor, a compressing means connected to the motor via the rotating shaft, said lubricant composition comprising as a base oil at least one member selected from the group consisting of ester oils, alkylbenzene oils and mineral oils, and an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups, and said refrigerant being selected from the group consisting of hydrofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons having a critical temperature of 40.degree. C. or higher and being cycled through the system, wherein the epoxy compound is a compound of the formula: ##STR71## wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.
