Claims
- 1. A variable (V) region of a light (L) chain of a reshaped antibody or a fragment thereof that specifically binds human IL-8, wherein said V region comprises the amino acid sequence from the Asp at position numbered 1 to the Lys at the position numbered 107 of SEQ ID NO:73 (RVLa).
- 2. An L chain of a reshaped antibody or a fragment thereof that specifically binds human IL-8, wherein the L chain comprisesa V region of L chain of claim 1 or fragment thereof and a constant (C) region of an L chain of a human antibody.
- 3. A V region of a heavy (H) chain of a reshaped antibody or a fragment thereof that specifically binds human IL-8, wherein said V region comprises the amino acid sequence from the Glu at position numbered 1 to Ser at position numbered 122 of SEQ ID NO:63 (RVHg).
- 4. An H chain of a reshaped antibody or a fragment thereof that specifically binds human IL-8, wherein the H chain comprises (1) the V region of H chain of claim 3 or fragment thereof, and (2) a C region of an H chain of a human antibody.
- 5. An antibody comprising a V region of an L chain and a V region of an H chain of a reshaped antibody or a fragment thereof that specifically binds human IL-8, wherein said V region of L chain comprises the amino acid sequence from Asp at position numbered 1 to Lys at position numbered 107 of SEQ ID NO:73 (RVLa) and said V region of H chain comprises the amino acid sequence from Glu at position numbered 1 to Ser at position numbered 122 of SEQ ID NO:63 (RVHg).
- 6. The antibody of claim 5, wherein said antibody further comprises a C region of an L chain and a C region of an H chain of a human antibody.
- 7. The antibody of claim 5, wherein said antibody fragment is Fab, Fab′, F(ab′)2, FV, or single chain FV.
