Claims
- 1. A method for detecting defects in dielectric test materials comprised of the following steps:
immersing or covering the test material with a penetrant material removing excess penetrant material from the surface of the test material; the complex dielectric properties of the penetrant material and the test material being substantially different; and scanning a dielectrometer apparatus over the surface of the test material to detect defects.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the penetrant material is a liquid.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the liquid is water.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the penetrant material is a powder.
