Claims
- 1. A substance applying apparatus for applying a substance to an application location, whereby an application element with a wetting body is partially received in an inner tube and the inner tube is received in an outer tube and whereby, by application of pressure on the application element, a fluid connection between the inner space of the inner tube and the inner space of the outer tube is produced, characterized in that the inner tube is comprised, in particular, of a softer material than the outer tube and, upon application of pressure on the inner tube, at least the bottom of the inner tube is deformable or a sealing ring in the region of the bottom of the inner tube is cut.
- 2. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the bottom of the inner tube is preferably asymmetrically deformable upon application of pressure upon the application element.
- 3. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the bottom of the inner tube is deformable upon the generation of a gap between the inner tube and the outer tube.
- 4. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the inner tube includes side openings extending to adjacent the bottom, and the wall of the inner tube is deformable, at least to the openings.
- 5. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein one or more deformation bodies are disposed in the outer tube for deforming the inner tube upon the application of pressure of the application element.
- 6. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the one deformation element or the several deformation elements are disposed at the end of the outer tube preferably on one side thereof.
- 7. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein one or more deformation bodies for effecting the deformation of the bottom of the inner tube each comprise an angled surface which extends from the wall of the outer tube in an angled manner toward the inner tube.
- 8. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein one or more deformation bodies are disposed adjacent the end of the outer tube and each exhibits a substantially wedge-shaped configuration.
- 9. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a deformation body for effecting the deformation of the bottom of the inner tube disposed within the outer tube is provided and includes at least one cutting portion oriented toward the inner tube.
- 10. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein one or more deformation bodies are disposed in the outer tube and, prior to the application of pressure on the application element, each extends from the bottom of the outer tube to an area adjacent to, or at the most on, the inner tube.
- 11. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the outer tube is comprised of a highly non-porous material such as barex, topaz, glass and/or metal.
- 12. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a sealing lip extends outwardly at the bottom of the inner tube.
- 13. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the sealing lip is configured for sealing off the inner space of the outer tube from the inner space of the inner tube and is preferably configured as a single unit on the inner tube.
- 14. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the sealing lip is at least partially deformable and, in particular, is consumable, for permitting the flow of substances.
- 15. A substance applying apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the sealing lip is configured as an O-ring disposed under tension for sealing off the inner space of the outer tube from the inner tube and can be cut through by the deformation element to permit the flow of fluids therepast.
