Claims
- 1. An assembly for processing a substrate, said assembly comprising:
- a wet processing station;
- a cover for directing liquid from said wet processing station into an enclosure housing said wet processing station, said cover coupled to said enclosure;
- said cover comprising side sections, an angled back section, a top section, and a front section comprising a plurality of angled portions;
- said side sections coupled to said angled back section, said top section, and said front section;
- said angled back section coupled to said top section;
- said top section coupled to said front section;
- said cover having a closed position, wherein said top section is horizontal and a lower area of each of said side sections, said front section and said back section is contained within a space defined by said enclosure;
- said plurality of angled portions of said front section comprising a first angled portion, a second angled portion, and a third angled portion, said first angled portion coupled to said top section, said second angled portion coupled to said first angled portion, said third angled portion coupled to said second angled portion, wherein, when said cover is in said closed position, said first angled portion extends outward and downward from said top section, said second angled portion extends from said first angled portion into said enclosure in at least downward direction, and said third angled portion extends downward and inward from said second angled portion into said enclosure, and further wherein, when said cover is in said closed position, any of said liquid from said wet processing station accumulating on said front section runs down said first angled portion to said second angled portion to said third angled portion and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid accumulating on said angled back section runs down said angled back section and into said enclosure;
- said cover having an open position, wherein said third angled portion is disposed above a portion of said enclosure, and further wherein any of said liquid on said third angled portion runs down said third angled portion and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid on said second angled portion runs down said second angled portion to said first angled portion to said top section to said angled back section, and any of said liquid on said first angled portion runs down said first angled portion to said top section to said angled back section, and any of said- liquid on said top section runs down said top section to said angled back section.
- 2. The assembly of claim 1 wherein said second angled portion also extends in an outward direction.
- 3. The assembly of claim 1 wherein said second angled portion also extends in an inward direction.
- 4. The assembly of claim 1 wherein said cover is hinged to said enclosure to allow said cover to rotate in an upward and backward direction away from said enclosure, said rotation ending in said open position.
- 5. The assembly of claim 1 wherein said wet processing station comprises a load station.
- 6. An assembly for processing a substrate, said assembly comprising:
- a wet processing station;
- a cover for directing liquid from said wet processing station into an enclosure housing said wet processing station, said cover coupled to said enclosure;
- said cover comprising side sections, a back section, a top section, a front section, and an inner panel;
- said side sections coupled to said back section, said top section, and said front section;
- said back section coupled to said top section and said inner panel;
- said top section coupled said front section and said inner panel;
- said side sections, back section, top section and front section enclosing a first space;
- said inner panel located within said first space, said inner panel forming an angle with said top section;
- said inner panel, front section and side sections enclosing a second space, said second space being part of said first space;
- said cover having a closed position, wherein said top section is horizontal and a lower edge of each of said side sections, said front section, and said back section is contained within a space defined by said enclosure;
- said front section comprising an upper angles portion and a main front portion, said main front portion comprising a lower angled portion, said upper angled portion coupled to said top section and forming an angle with said inner panel, said main front portion coupled to said upper angled portion, wherein, when said cover is in said closed position, said upper angled portion extends outward and downward from said top section, said main front portion extends downward from said upper angled portion and substantially perpendicular to said top section, and said lower angled portion of said main front portion extends inward and downward from an inner surface of said main front portion toward said enclosure, and further wherein, when said cover is in said closed position, any of said liquid from said wet processing station accumulating on said inner panel runs down said inner panel and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid accumulating on said front section runs down said upper angled portion to said main front portion to said lower angled portion and into said enclosure;
- said cover having an open position, wherein said second space is disposed substantially over a rear portion of said enclosure, and further wherein any of said liquid on said inner panel runs down said inner panel and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid accumulating on said front section runs down said upper angled portion to said main front portion to said lower angled portion and into said enclosure.
- 7. The assembly of claim 6 wherein said angle between said inner panel and said top section is approximately forty-five degrees.
- 8. The assembly of claim 6 wherein said cover is hinged to said enclosure to allow said cover to rotate in an upward and backward direction away from said enclosure, said rotation ending in said open position.
- 9. The assembly of claim 6 wherein said wet processing station comprises a brush station.
- 10. The assembly of claim 6 wherein said wet processing station comprises a load station.
- 11. The assembly of claim 6 wherein said cover is made of acrylic.
- 12. An assembly for processing a substrate, said assembly comprising:
- a plurality of wet processing stations;
- a cover for directing liquid from said plurality of wet processing stations into an enclosure housing said plurality of wet processing stations, said cover coupled to said enclosure;
- said cover comprising side sections, a back section, a top section, a front section, and an inner panel;
- said side sections coupled to said back section, said top section, and said front section;
- said back section coupled to said top section and said inner panel;
- said top section coupled to said front section and said inner panel;
- said side sections, back section, top section and front section enclosing a first space;
- said inner panel located within said first space, said inner panel forming an angle with said top section;
- said inner panel, front section and side sections enclosing a second space, said second space being part of said first space;
- said cover having a closed position, wherein said top section is horizontal and a lower edge of each of said side sections, said front section, and said back section is contained within a space defined by said enclosure;
- said front section comprising an upper angled portion and a main front portion, said main front portion comprising a lower angled portion, said upper angled portion coupled to said top section and forming an angle with said inner panel, said main front portion coupled to said upper angled portion, wherein, when said cover is in said closed position, said upper angled portion extends outward and downward from said top section, said main front portion extends downward from said upper angled portion and substantially perpendicular to said top section, and said lower angled portion of said main front portion extends inward and downward from an inner surface of said main front portion toward said enclosure, and further wherein, when said cover is ,in said closed position, any of said liquid from said plurality of wet processing stations accumulating on said inner panel runs down said inner panel and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid accumulating on said front section runs down said upper angled portion to said main front portion to said lower angled portion and into said enclosure;
- said cover having an open position, wherein said second space is disposed substantially over a rear portion of said enclosure, and further wherein any of said liquid on said inner panel runs down said inner panel and into said enclosure, and any of said liquid accumulating on said front section runs down said upper angled portion to said main front portion to said lower angled portion and into said enclosure.
- 13. The assembly of claim 12 wherein said angle between said inner panel and said top section is approximately forty-five degrees.
- 14. The assembly of claim 12 wherein said cover is hinged to said enclosure to allow said cover to rotate in an upward and backward direction away from said enclosure, said rotation ending in said open position.
- 15. The assembly of claim 12 wherein said plurality of wet processing stations includes a brush station.
- 16. The assembly of claim 12 wherein said plurality of wet processing stations includes a load station.
- 17. The assembly of claim 12 wherein said cover is made of acrylic.
