TECHNICAL FIELD

This disclosure relates generally to information technology, and, more particularly, to system and method of provisioning, upgrading and tracking solutions in a multi tenanted platform.

BACKGROUND

In current scenario, plurality of configuration steps such as database creation, enabling bundles for the customer, table creation, scripts execution, users and user group creation for the customer, user group mapping for access to various modules/functionalities are error prone since much manual work is involved. Time taken to enable a customer is more. Manual process of provisioning requires frequent server access by developers. There is dependency on solutions team for provisioning. There are neither provisioning standards or guidelines nor option to provision two or more customers simultaneously due to manual process and infrastructure limitations. Current technologies have restriction in terms, adding any new components to the already provisioned request in future based on the customer request. Different source code and deliverables deployment methods have been used, however these have resulted in leading to more maintenance and cost.
