Claims
- 1. A substrate for making custom transfers, said substrate comprising:
- polyvinyl chloride sheeting of film dimension thickness having one side of same bearing a dry composited coating comprising a uniform base coating of a uniform mixture consisting of approximately twenty parts isopropyl alcohol, one part wax and one part talcum powder that is overlaid with a uniform coating of polyvinyl alcohol.
- 2. The substrate set forth in claim 1 wherein:
- said sheeting has a thickness approximating 0.005 inch.
- 3. The method of making a substrate for making custom transfers, said method comprising:
- taking a polyvinyl sheet of film dimensions and coating one side of same with a uniform mixture consisting of approximately twenty parts isopropyl alcohol, one part wax, and one part talcum powder,
- drying said coating,
- overcoating said coating with a uniform layer of an aqueous emulsion of polyvinyl alcohol,
- and drying said overcoating.
