Claims
- 1. A throttle valve control system for an internal combustion engine comprising:a throttle body having an air intake passage; a throttle valve rotatably provided within said throttle body and adjusting an opening area of said air intake passage; a motor secured on said throttle body; a gear mechanism for transmitting a rotational force of said motor to said throttle valve, said motor having a mounting flange at end portion thereof; said mounting flange being provided with two bolt holes with a given distance therebetween; and said motor being secured on said throttle body by two bolts through said two bolt holes, wherein said mounting flange has an arc shaped portion between said two bolt holes, and said throttle body formed with a curved wall surface guiding said arc shaped portions.
- 2. A throttle valve control system for an internal combustion engine as set forth in claim 1, wherein said gear mechanism includes an intermediate gear rotatably supported on a shaft fixed on said throttle body, and a part of said curved wall surface is formed between said shaft and said motor.
- 3. A throttle valve control system for an internal combustion engine as set forth in claim 1, wherein one of said curved wall surface is formed with a frame of said throttle body.
- 4. A throttle valve control system for an internal combustion engine, comprisinga throttle body having an air intake passage; a throttle valve rotatably provided within said throttle body and adjusting an opening area of said air intake passage; a motor secured on said throttle body; a gear mechanism for transmitting a rotational force of said motor to said throttle valve, said motor having a mounting flange at end portion thereof; said mounting flange being provided with two bolt holes with a given distance therebetween; and said motor being secured on said throttle body by two bolts through said two bolt holes, wherein said motor is provided with at least one curved peripheral portion between said two bolts, said portion being configured to be mountable into a curved surface portion in a frame of said throttle body.
- 5. A throttle device for an engine, in which a throttle valve and a throttle actuating motor installed within a throttle body of an air induction system of the engine, comprising:an end cover formed on one side end portion of said motor, said motor being secured on said throttle body by securing said end cover on said throttle body; and at least one projection formed on said throttle body and having a face opposing along a part of outer peripheral edge of said end cover.
- 6. A throttle device for an engine as set forth in claim 5, wherein a plurality of flange portions are formed on said end cover, and said motor is secured on said throttle body at said flange portions by means of bolts.
- 7. A throttle device for an engine as set forth in claim 5, wherein a frame of said throttle body also serves as one of said projections.
