Claims
- 1. A throttle device driven by a motor to open and close a throttle valve to control the amount of intake air of an internal-combustion engine, comprising:a throttle body equipped with said throttle valve and said motor; a reduction gear mechanism which transmits the power of said motor to a throttle valve shaft; and a stopper defining a mechanically full-closed position of said throttle valve; wherein said reduction gear mechanism is arranged on a side wall of said throttle body and covered by a synthetic resin cover attached on said side wall, a gear of said reduction gear mechanism is fixed on one end of said throttle valve shaft, a side of said gear comes in contact with said stopper in said mechanically full-closed position of said throttle valve, and said stopper is located inside a cover attachment surface of said throttle body which attached said synthetic resin cover.
- 2. A throttle device for an internal-combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein said stopper is attached in a projection which is so provided as to project from said side wall of said throttle body to said synthetic resin cover side rather than said cover attachment surface.
- 3. A throttle device for an internal-combustion engine according to claim 1, wherein said cover attachment surface is formed nearer to said throttle valve than a position of said stopper in the direction of said throttle valve shaft.
- 4. A throttle device driven by a motor to open and close a throttle valve to control the amount of intake air of an internal-combustion engine, comprising:a throttle body equipped with said throttle valve and said motor; a reduction gear mechanism which transmits the power of said motor to a throttle valve shaft; and a stopper defining a mechanically full-closed position of said throttle valve; wherein said reduction gear mechanism is arranged on a side wall of said throttle body and covered by a synthetic resin cover attached on said side wall, a gear of said reduction gear mechanism is fixed on one end of said throttle valve shaft, a side of said gear comes in contact with said stopper in said mechanically full-closed position of said throttle valve, said stopper is attached in a projection provided on said side wall of said throttle body, a stopper attachment position of said projection and a stopper contact section of said gear project to said synthetic resin cover side rather than said cover attachment surface, and a spring for giving the spring force to said throttle valve shaft lies between said side wall of throttle body and said gear.
