Claims
- 1. A covering for an implantable device comprising
a first surface, the first surface being non-textured, and a second surface having ridges and valleys.
- 2. The covering of claim 1 further comprising PTFEe material.
- 3. The covering of claim 1 wherein the ridges and valleys of the second surface form nested geometric structures.
- 4. The covering of claim 3 wherein the nested geometric structures comprise nested hexcels.
- 5. An implantable device covering comprising
a sheet of flexible material having first and second surfaces, the first surface being flat, the second surface having peaks and troughs and being adapted to interface with body tissues.
- 6. The covering of claim 5 further comprising PTFEe material.
- 7. The covering of claim 5 wherein the peaks and troughs of the second surface form nested geometric structures.
- 8. The covering of claim 7 wherein the nested geometric structures comprise nested hexcels.
- 9. An implantable device and covering comprising
an implantable device, and a sheet of flexible material attachable to the implantable device, the sheet including a tissue interfacing surface, wherein the tissue interfacing surface includes a plurality of structures forming ridges and valleys.
- 10. The implantable device and covering of claim 9 wherein the covering further comprising PTFEe material.
- 11. The implantable device and covering of claim 9 wherein the ridges and valleys of the tissue interfacing surface form nested geometric structures.
- 12. The implantable device and covering of claim 11 wherein the nested geometric structures comprise nested hexcels.
- 13. An implantable device covering comprising
a sheet of flexible material having first and second surfaces, the first surface being non-textured, the second surface having first and second planar surfaces, the first and second planar surfaces being in non-planar relation.
- 14. The covering of claim 13 further comprising PTFEe material.
