Abstract
An electrostatic image developing toner is disclosed, comprising a resin and a colorant, wherein the toner contains at least one iminocarboxylic acid or its salt in an amount of from 26 to 388 ppm by mass.

Claims
  • 1. An electrostatic image developing toner comprising a resin and a colorant, wherein the toner contains at least one iminocarboxylic acid or its salt in an amount of 26 to 338 ppm by mass.
  • 2. The toner of claim 1, wherein the iminocarboxylic acid is at least one selected from the group consisting of the following compounds:
  • 3. The toner of claim 2, wherein the toner contains at least one selected from the group consisting of compounds (8-3), (9-2) and (9-3) or its sodium salt.
  • 4. The toner of claim 1, wherein the toner contains a sodium element in an amount of 1 to 134 ppm by mass.
  • 5. The toner of claim 1, wherein the toner contains a divalent or trivalent metal element in an amount of 300 to 1800 ppm by mass.
  • 6. The toner of claim 5, wherein the divalent or trivalent metal element is at least one of the group consisting of calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc, aluminum and iron.
  • 7. The toner of claim 1, wherein the toner contains a sodium element in an amount of 1 to 134 ppm by mass and a divalent or trivalent metal element in an amount of 300 to 1800 ppm by mass.
