Claims
- 1. A thermosetting resin composition comprising, as the essential components, (a) an unsaturated imide compound represented by formula (1): ##STR10## wherein Q represents an alicyclic structure-containing hydrocarbon having 4 to 20 carbon atoms; each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a halogen-containing hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and each of a, b, c, d, e and f represents an integer of 0-4 satisfying a+b.ltoreq.4, c+d.ltoreq.4 and e+f.ltoreq.4; and D represents a divalent organic group having 2-24 carbon atoms and having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and (b) a curing accelerator.
- 2. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein Q is selected from the group consisting of: ##STR11##
- 3. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein Q is ##STR12##
- 4. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a halogen atom.
- 5. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
- 6. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a halogentated hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
- 7. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a cycloalkyl group having 3-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group.
- 8. A thermosetting composition according to claim 1, wherein D is --CH.dbd.CH--, CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH--CH.sub.2, --C(CH.sub.3).dbd.CH--, or --C(Cl).dbd.C(Cl)--.
- 9. A thermosetting resin composition comprising, as the essential components, (a) an unsaturated imide compound represented by formula (1): ##STR13## wherein Q represents an alicyclic structure-containing hydrocarbon having 4 to 20 carbon atoms; each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a halogen-containing hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms; and each of a, b, c, d, e and f represents an integer of 0-4 satisfying a+b.ltoreq.4, c+d.ltoreq.4 and e+f.ltoreq.4; and D represents a divalent organic group having 2-24 carbon atoms and having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, (b) a curing accelerator, (c) an epoxy resin and (d) an epoxy resin curing agent.
- 10. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein Q is selected from the group consisting of: ##STR14##
- 11. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein Q is ##STR15##
- 12. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a halogen atom.
- 13. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
- 14. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a halogentated hydrocarbon group having 1-6 carbon atoms.
- 15. A thermosetting composition according to claim 9, wherein each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.i and R.sub.j represent a cycloalkyl group having 3-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group.
