Claims
- 1. A method of creating one or more voice pages and registering a voice code associated with the one or more voice pages comprising:receiving an electronically transmitted request at a computer system, the request comprising a request for the computer system to create one or more voice pages to be distributed by a voice network access provider system; electronically transmitting from that computer system one or more voice page creation files to be utilized by a user system to prompt the user to input data to be used to generate the one or more voice pages; electronically receiving one or more voice page creation input files generated from the voice page creation files and based on input received by a voice page creation user, the one or more voice page creation input files comprising at least one textual input and at least one link to a second voice page on the voice network access provider system; automatically generating a voice page based on the one or more modified voice page creation files and predetermined criteria, the voice page including the textual input and the at least one link to a second voice page; receiving a request for a voice code to be assigned to one or more voice pages to be delivered in the voice network access provider system; assigning a unique voice code for the one or more voice pages that may be used by users of the voice network access provider system to access the one or more voice pages; and storing the unique voice code assigned to the one or more voice pages with an identification of the one or more voice pages to enable the voice network access provider system to retrieve and output content from the voice page upon input by a user of the voice code.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the identification of the voice page comprises an address of a storage location where the voice page is located on the voice network access provider system.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a multiple level voice code.
- 4. The method of claim 3 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a voice book identification portion corresponding to a voice book with which the voice page is associated and a voice page identification portion corresponding to that voice page within the voice book.
- 5. The method of claim 4 wherein the method of registering voice codes assigns the voice page identification portion of the voice code.
- 6. The method of claim 3 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a provider identification portion corresponding to the provider of the voice page and a voice page identification portion.
- 7. The method of claim 6 wherein the provider identification portion comprises a unique identifier for the voice network access provider that provides that voice page.
- 8. The method of claim 6 wherein the provider identification portion comprises a unique identifier for the voice code provider that created the voice page.
- 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a numeric code.
- 10. The method of claim 1 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a separator character for a multiple level voice code.
- 11. The method of claim 1 wherein the voice page assigned is an index page containing one or more other voice pages and wherein each voice page in the index page is also assigned a voice code.
- 12. The method of claim 1 wherein multiple systems are provided for assigning voice codes and further comprising the step of assigning each voice code assignment system a unique identifier used in creating voice codes.
- 13. The method of claim 1 further comprising the step of providing the voice code information to one or more voice code identifier modules.
- 14. The method of claim 1 further comprising the step of providing the voice page identification for requested voice codes.
- 15. A system for creating one or more voice pages and registering voice codes associated with the one or more voice pages:voice page creation request receiving means for receiving an electronically transmitted request at a computer system, the request comprising a request for the computer system to create one or more voice pages to be distributed by a voice network access provider system; electronically transmitting from that computer system one or more voice page creation files to be utilized by a user system to prompt the user to input data to be used to generate the one or more voice pages; electronically receiving one or more voice page creation input files generated from the voice page creation files and based on input received by a voice page creation user, the one or more voice page creation input files comprising at least one textual input and at least one link to a second voice page on the voice network access provider system; automatically generating a voice page based on the one or more modified voice page creation files and predetermined criteria, the voice page including the textual input and the at least one link to a second voice page; a request receiving means for receiving a request for a voice code to be assigned to one or more voice pages to be delivered in the voice network access provider system; assignment means for assigning a unique voice code for the one or more voice pages that may be used by users of the voice network access provider system to access the one or more voice pages; and storage means for storing the unique voice code assigned to one or more voice pages with an identification of the associated one or more voice pages to enable the voice network access provider system to retrieve and output content from the voice page upon input by a user of the voice code.
- 16. The system of claim 15 wherein the identification of the voice page comprises an address of a storage location where the voice page is located on the voice network access provider system.
- 17. The system of claim 15 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a multiple level voice code.
- 18. The system of claim 17 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a voice book identification portion corresponding to a voice book with which the voice page is associated and a voice page identification portion corresponding to that voice page within the voice book.
- 19. The system of claim 18 wherein the assignment means assigns the voice page identification portion of the voice code.
- 20. The system of claim 17 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a provider identification portion corresponding to the provider of the voice page and a voice page identification portion.
- 21. The system of claim 20 wherein the provider identification portion comprises a unique identifier for the voice network access provider that provides that voice page.
- 22. The system of claim 20 wherein the provider identification portion comprises a unique identifier for the voice code provider that created the voice page.
- 23. The system of claim 15 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a numeric code.
- 24. The system of claim 15 wherein the voice code assigned comprises a separator character for a multiple level voice code.
- 25. The system of claim 15 wherein the voice page assigned is an index page containing one or more other voice pages and wherein each voice page in the index page is also assigned a voice code.
- 26. The system of claim 15 comprising a second assignment means for assigning voice codes, wherein the first and second assignment means assign different voice codes.
- 27. The system of claim 26 comprising synchronization means for synchronizing the first and second assignment means.
- 28. The system of claim 26 comprising one or more additional assignment means.
- 29. The system of claim 28 wherein each assignment means is provided a unique voice code assignment code portion and wherein each voice code assigned by the assignment means includes the voice code assignment code portion for that assignment means.
- 30. The system of claim 15 further comprising:means for requesting a voice page identification corresponding to a voice code; and storage access means for accessing the storage means to provide the voice page identification corresponding to a requested voice code.
