- 1. A method of detecting a position of a mobile station in a wireless radiocommunication system including said mobile station, a plurality of base stations and a control station, said method comprising:a step in which each of said base stations measures reception radio strength levels of a radio wave emitted from said mobile station which stands at a measuring point, and communicates the measurement results to said control station; a step in which said control station learns, through a neural network, a correlation between said reception radio strength levels and a position of said mobile station on the basis of said measurement results at a plurality of measuring points and position data of said measuring points; a step in which each of said base stations measures reception radio strength levels of a radio wave transmitted from said mobile station which stands at an arbitrary point and conveys the measurement results to said control station; and a step in which said control station estimates a position of said mobile station producing said measurement results, on the basis of the correlation between reception radio strength levels and a position of said mobile station obtained through the learning.
- 2. A wireless radiocommunication system comprising a mobile station, a plurality of base stations and a control station, with said control station detecting a position of said mobile station, wherein each of said plurality of base stations has radio strength measuring means for measuring a reception radio strength level of a radio wave emitted from said mobile station, and said control station includes:position input means for input of a position of a measuring point; a position learning processing means for learning, through a neural network, a correlation between the reception radio strength level measured by said base station when said mobile station emits a radio wave at said measuring point and the position of said measuring point inputted through said position input means; and position estimation processing means for estimating a position of said mobile station on the basis of a reception radio strength level from said mobile station measured by said base station through the use of said correlation said position learning processing means learns.
