Claims
- 1. A method for forming a coated wood product characterized by a printed wood grain pattern, comprising the steps of:
- (a) applying a liquid coating onto a wood product, said coating comprising

- (b) evaporating volatile solvents to form a solid coating;
- (c) applying an ink composition in a wood grain pattern onto said solid coating, said ink composition comprising
- ______________________________________ % volume______________________________________acrylic resins 52.24latex resins 1.93ethylene glycol 2.32DMAE 0.58water 5.15glycol ether 6.41yellow pigment 6.22tint paste 4.90burnt umber pigment 16.77red oxide pigment 0.79iridescent pigment 0.22absorption pigment 2.45 100.00.______________________________________
- 2. A coated wood product formed according to the method of claim 1.
