Claims
- 1. A method for electrically coupling a first node to a second node, the method comprising the steps of:coupling the first node to a third node in response to a first clock signal going active; coupling the third node to the second node in response to a second clock signal going active; coupling the first node to a fourth node in response to the second clock signal going active; and coupling the fourth node to the second node in response to the first clock signal going active, wherein the sequence in which the first, third and second nodes are coupled is different than the sequence in which the first, fourth and second nodes are coupled.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the first clock signal is activated before the second clock signal.
- 3. An apparatus for coupling a first node to a second node, the apparatus comprising:a first coupling means coupling the first node to a third node in response to a first clock signal going active; a second coupling means coupling the third node to the second node in response to a second clock signal going active; a third coupling means coupling the first node to a fourth node in response to the second clock signal going active; and a fourth coupling means coupling the fourth node to the second node in response to the first clock signal going active, wherein the sequence in which the first, second, third, and fourth coupling means couple the first, third and second nodes in a different sequence than in which the first, fourth and second nodes are coupled.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 3 wherein the first clock signal is activated before the second clock signal.
- 5. An apparatus for coupling a first node to a second node, the apparatus comprising:a first transfer gate coupled between the first node and a third node, the first transfer gate having a clock terminal for receiving a first clock signal and coupling the first node to the third node in response to a first clock signal going active; a second transfer gate coupled between the third node and the second node, the second transfer gate having a clock terminal for receiving a second clock signal and coupling the third node to the second node in response to a second clock signal going active; a third transfer gate coupled between the first node and a fourth node, the third transfer gate having a clock terminal for receiving the second clock signal and coupling the first node to the fourth node in response to the second clock signal going active; and a fourth transfer gate coupled between the fourth node and the second node, the fourth transfer gate having a clock terminal for receiving the first clock signal and coupling the fourth node to the second node in response to the first clock signal going active, wherein the sequence in which the first, second, third, and fourth transfer gates couple the first, third and second nodes is different than the sequence in which the first, fourth and second nodes are coupled.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 5 wherein the first clock signal is activated before the second clock signal.
