Claims
- 1. Apparatus comprising:an automated banking machine including at least one bill dispenser device and at least one output device; at least one computer operative in the automated banking machine, the computer including document processing software; wherein the computer is operative to cause the document processing software to process at least one document to provide at least one output through the at least one output device, wherein the output is provided during at least a portion of a time period during which the at least one bill dispenser device is operating in the automated banking machine.
- 2. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the automated banking machine further comprises a depository device operative to accept at least one deposited item, and wherein the computer is operative to cause the document processing software to process at least one document to provide at least one further output through the at least one output device, wherein the further output is provided during at least a portion of a further time period during which the depository device accepts at least one deposited item.
- 3. The apparatus according to claim 1 and further comprising at least one server, wherein the server is operative to provide the at least one document.
- 4. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the at least one output comprises advertising material.
- 5. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the document processing software comprises a browser.
- 6. A method comprising:(a) operating an automated banking machine to dispense at least one currency bill to a user; (b) operating document processing software in at least one computer in the machine to process at least one document; (c) producing at least one output through at least one output device on the machine responsive to the at least one document during at least a portion of step (a).
- 7. The method according to claim 6 wherein in step (b) the at least one document is processed responsive to a location of the machine.
- 8. The method according to claim 6 and further comprising:determining through operation of the machine, information corresponding to the user; and wherein in step (b) the at least one document is processed responsive to the information corresponding to the user.
- 9. Computer readable media having computer readable instructions embodied thereon, the computer readable instructions operative to cause at least one computer to carry out the method recited in claim 6.
- 10. A method comprising:(a) operating an automated banking machine to accept at least one item from a user to be deposited in the machine; (b) operating document processing software in at least one computer in the machine to process at least one document; (c) producing at least one output through at least one output device on the machine responsive to the at least one document during at least a portion of step (a).
- 11. A system comprising:at least one server; a plurality of HTML documents accessible through the server, wherein each of the documents is accessible at a corresponding document address, wherein the documents include a first document accessible at a first address, the first document including first material; a first automated banking transaction machine, wherein the first transaction machine is located at a first physical location, wherein the first material includes physical location specific content, wherein the first material is targeted to users of the first transaction machine at the first location, wherein the first transaction machine includes a first computer and a first output device, wherein the first output device is in operative connection with the first computer; first software executable in the first computer, wherein the first software includes a first browser, wherein the first browser is operative to access the first document at the first address and wherein the first computer is operative responsive to the first document to output the first material through the first output device; wherein the server is operative to selectively deliver the first document to the first transaction machine based on the particular physical location of the first transaction machine.
- 12. Apparatus comprising:an automated banking machine including at least one bill dispenser device and at least one output device; at least one computer operative in the automated banking machine, the computer including HTML document processing software; wherein the computer is operative to cause the document processing software to process at least one HTML document to provide at least one output through the at least one output device, wherein the at least one output is provided during at least a portion of a time period during which the at least one bill dispenser device is operating in the automated banking machine, and wherein the at least one output comprises advertising material.
