Claims
- 1. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a currency sheet dispenser; a card reader device, wherein the card reader device is operative to read card data from cards input by users of the machine; a computer in operative connection with the card reader device and the currency sheet dispenser, wherein the currency sheet dispenser is operative to dispense at least one currency sheet from the machine; and software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate an HTTP address and to operate the computer to access the address responsive to the card data.
- 2. The apparatus according to claim 1 and further comprising:an HTTP server in operative connection with a data store, and wherein the HTTP server is in operative connection with the computer, and a plurality of records in the data store accessible by the server, and wherein responsive to input of a card into the card reader device the HTTP address generated by the computer corresponds to a first record, wherein the first record includes user information uniquely corresponding to the card input by the user.
- 3. The apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the user information includes information which uniquely identifies the user.
- 4. The apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the user information includes information corresponding to biometric data of the user.
- 5. The apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the transaction machine further includes an input device, wherein the input device is operative to accept a user input, and wherein the computer is operative to compare information in the first record to the user input to the input device.
- 6. The apparatus according to claim 5 wherein the input device includes a keyboard.
- 7. The apparatus according to claim 5 wherein the input device includes a biometric reader.
- 8. The apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the machine further includes a plurality of transaction devices, and a data store, wherein the data store includes device data representative of the transaction devices, and wherein the address is generated responsive to the card data and the device data.
- 9. The apparatus according to claim 2 and further comprising an output device in the machine in operative connection with the computer, and wherein the software in the computer includes a browser, and wherein software in the computer is operative to cause the browser to access a first HTML document responsive to the user information in the first record.
- 10. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a card reader device, wherein the card reader device is operative to read card data from cards input by users of the machine; a computer in operative connection with the card reader device; software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate an HTTP address and to operate the computer to access the address responsive to the card data; an input device, wherein the input device is operative to accept a user input; an HTTP server in operative connection with a data store, and wherein the HTTP server is in operative connection with the computer, and a plurality of records in the data store accessible by the server, and wherein responsive to input of a card into the card reader device the HTTP address generated by the computer corresponds to at least one first record, wherein the at least one first record includes user information uniquely corresponding to the card input by the user, and wherein the computer is operative to compare information in the at least one first record to the user input to the input device; and a sheet dispenser in operative connection with the computer, and wherein the sheet dispenser is operative to dispense a sheet responsive to the user input to the input device corresponding to the user information in the at least one first record.
- 11. The apparatus according to claim 10 wherein the sheet dispenser comprises a currency sheet dispenser.
- 12. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a card reader device, wherein the card reader device is operative to read card data from cards input by users of the machine; a clock device; a computer in operative connection with the card reader device; and software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate an HTTP address and to operate the computer to access the address responsive to the card data, and wherein the address is generated responsive to the card data and the clock device.
- 13. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a card reader device, wherein the card reader device is operative to read card data from cards input by users of the machine; an output device; a computer in operative connection with the card reader device and the output device; software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate at least one HTTP address and to operate the computer to access the at least one address responsive to the card data, wherein the software includes a browser; an HTTP server in operative connection with a data store, and wherein the HTTP server is in operative connection with the computer, and a plurality of records in the data store accessible by the server, and wherein responsive to input of a card into the card reader device the at least one HTTP address generated by the computer corresponds to at least one record, wherein the at least one record includes user information uniquely corresponding to the card input by the user, wherein the information in the at least one record includes data representative of customer preference data, and wherein software is operative to cause the browser to access at least one mark up language document responsive to the customer preference data.
- 14. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a currency sheet dispenser; a biometric input device, wherein the biometric input device is operative to receive at least one biometric input from a user of the machine; a computer in operative connection with the biometric input device and the currency sheet dispenser, wherein the currency sheet dispenser is operative to dispense at least one currency sheet from the machine; and software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate at least one HTTP address and to access the at least one address with the computer responsive to the at least one input.
- 15. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a biometric input device, wherein the biometric input device is operative to receive at least one biometric input from a user of the machine; a computer in operative connection with the biometric input device; software executable in the computer, wherein the software includes a browser, wherein the software is operative to generate at least one HTTP address and to access the at least one address with the computer responsive to the at least one input; a sheet dispenser in operative connection with the computer; and a server in operative connection with the browser, and at least one mark up language document accessible through the server, wherein the at least one document is accessible at the at least one address, wherein the at least one document includes user information, and wherein the sheet dispenser is operative to dispense a sheet responsive to the at least one input corresponding to the user information in the at least one document.
- 16. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a biometric input device, wherein the biometric input device is operative to receive at least one biometric input from a user of the machine; a computer in operative connection with the biometric input device; software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate at least one HTTP address and to access the at least one address with the computer responsive to the at least one input; a sheet dispenser in operative connection with the computer; and an HTTP server in operative connection with the computer, at least one record accessible through the server, and wherein the at least one record includes user information, and wherein the sheet dispenser is operative to dispense a sheet responsive to the at least one input corresponding to user information in the at least one record.
- 17. A method comprising:a) reading indicia associated with a user with a reading device in an automated transaction machine including a currency sheet dispenser operative to dispense at least one currency sheet from the machine; b) responsive to the indicia read in step (a) generating at least one HTTP address with a computer in the machine; c) accessing user data corresponding to the read indicia from at least one HTTP record corresponding to the at least one address.
- 18. The method according to claim 17 and further comprising:d) inputting a user input through an input device on the machine; e) comparing data representative of the user input and the user data accessed in step (c) for correspondence; and f) operating a transaction function device on the machine responsive to determining in step (e) correspondence between the user input and user data.
- 19. The method according to claim 17 and further comprising:d) generating at least one mark up language document responsive to the user data.
- 20. A method comprising:a) reading indicia associated with a user with a reading device of an automated transaction machine; b) responsive to the indicia read in step (a) generating at least one HTTP address with a computer in the machine; c) accessing user data corresponding to the read indicia from at least one HTTP record corresponding to the at least one address, wherein the user data includes user preference data representative of at least one preference of the user; d) accessing at least one of a plurality of mark up language documents with a browser operating in the computer, wherein the at least one document is selectively accessed responsive to the user preference data.
- 21. A method comprising:a) reading indicia associated with a user with a reading device of an automated transaction machine; b) responsive to the indicia read in step (a) generating at least one HTTP address with a computer in the machine; c) accessing user data corresponding to the read indicia from at least one HTTP record corresponding to the at least one address, wherein the user data includes user affiliation data representative of at least one affiliation of the user; d) accessing at least one of a plurality of mark up language documents with a browser operating in the computer, wherein the at least one document is selectively accessed responsive to the affiliation data.
- 22. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: a currency sheet dispenser; a card reader device, wherein the card reader device is operative to read card data corresponding to at least one Internet address from a card input by a user of the machine, a computer in operative connection with the card reader device and the currency sheet dispenser, wherein the currency sheet dispenser is operative to dispense at least one currency sheet from the machine, and software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to cause the computer to operate to access the at least one Internet address corresponding to the card data.
- 23. The apparatus according to claim 22 and further comprising:a host server having an address, wherein the host server is in operative connection with the computer, and wherein the at least one Internet address differs from the host server address.
- 24. The apparatus according to claim 22 and further comprising:at least one document, wherein the at least one document includes user identity information, wherein the computer is operable to access the at least one document at the at least one Internet address.
- 25. Apparatus comprising:an automated transaction machine including: at least one input device, wherein the at least one input device is operative to receive user input including input data corresponding to an Internet address from a user of the machine, a computer in operative connection with the at least one input device, a currency dispenser in operative connection with the computer, software executable in the computer, wherein the software is operative to generate an Internet address based on the received input data, an information item, wherein the information item includes unique user information, wherein the user information is able to be compared with the user input, wherein the information item is accessible at the generated Internet address, wherein the dispenser is operative to dispense currency responsive to the user input corresponding to the user information in the information item.
