Claims
- 1. A unitary edge profile member adapted for use in the fabrication of a compound injection molded decorative laminate panel, comprising:
a unitary member defining an enclosed space, the unitary member being shaped and dimensioned for receipt of an injection molded core; and the unitary member further including a radially outwardly facing wall, the outwardly facing wall including a shaped profile, the shaped profile being shaped and dimensioned for engagement with the edge profile of an adjacent decorative laminate panel.
- 2. The edge profile member according to claim 1, wherein the unitary member is formed from a material chosen from the group consisting of vinyls, polyolefins, styrenics, polyamides, polyimides, polyethers, polyesters, acrylics, acetals, thermoplastic olefins, thermoplastic Urethanes, thermoplastic elastomers, epoxies, polyurethanes, phenolics and melamines.
- 3. The edge profile member according to claim 1, wherein the unitary member is formed from acrylic-butadiene-styrene.
