Abstract
The dispenser has two halves hingedly attached to one another. One half holds tissues, such as blotting tissues, being retained by biased member. Bias member is a clamp extending across the entire width of the case. The upper half of the case has a mirror attached to its inner surface. The case holds an ample supply of blotting tissues yet compact allowing easy portability.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Various types of tissues have a wide range of applications. Often, the need arises for tissues away from the home, requiring a convenient carrying case for tissues.

Blotting tissues are one particular type of tissue. Blotting tissues are used to remove excess oil and perspiration without disturbing makeup. Because of their use, the need for blotting tissues arises more frequently outside the home than within the home. The ability to carry such tissues in a handbag, glove compartment, or in a manner making them portable and convenient to use is needed in a prior art.

It is an object of the invention to provide a convenient carrying case for tissues.

It is another object of the invention to prove a case sized to hold tissues yet be compact.

It is still another object of the invention to provide a case for carrying tissues and provide a mirror for the user.

These and other objects of the invention will become apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art after reading the disclosure of the invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The dispenser has two halves hingedly attached to one another. One half holds tissues, such as blotting tissues, being retained by biased member. Bias member is a clamp extending across the entire width of the case. The upper half of the case has a mirror attached to its inner surface. The case holds an ample supply of blotting tissues yet compact allowing easy portability.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the dispenser in the open position.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 shows dispenser 10 having a bottom portion 12 hingedly connected to a top portion 14. The two portions are hinged together to move between a closed configuration and an open configuration. Suitable dimensions for a dispenser are 4 inches long, 2{fraction (9/16)} inches wide and half an inch high.

The bottom portion holds tissues, such as blotting tissues. A clamp, extending across the width of the bottom portion is biased outwardly against the tissue to retain them within the bottom portion. The clamp is biased downwardly by a torsional spring or similar mechanism. The distal edge of the clamp has has an indent 18 to allow the easy lifting of the clamp for removal of the tissues.

The upper portion retains a mirror 20 on its inner surface. When in the open configuration, the user removes the tissue and the mirror provides the ability for the user to view themselves when needed for the easy and efficient use of the tissues. The dispenser 10 presents a convenient and compact case for holding blotting tissues and provides a mirror for the ease and convenience of the user.

While the invention has been described with reference to a preferred embodiment, various modifications would be apparent to one who is skilled in the art. The invention accomplishes such variations by modifications which do not depart from the scope of the invention.
