Claims
- 1. A vaporization apparatus for converting a liquid feed to a vapor feed, comprising:a feed tank for storing a liquid feed; a liquid feed delivery path for conveying said liquid feed; a vaporization component at said liquid delivery path comprising a high temperature heat exchanger having a capillary tube for transporting said liquid feed and a heat source for externally heating said capillary tube; and a vaporization prevention component disposed upstream of said vaporization component for preventing heating effects of said vaporization component to said liquid feed conveyed through said liquid feed delivery path.
- 2. A vaporization apparatus for converting a liquid feed to a vapor feed, comprising:a liquid feed delivery path for conveying a liquid feed; a vaporization prevention component at said liquid feed delivery path for preventing vaporization of the liquid feed conveyed through said liquid feed delivery path; a vaporization path disposed downstream of said liquid feed delivery path, said vaporization path having a cross-section where a maximum distance from any point of said vaporization path to a wall surface is not more than 2 mm; and a heating component at said vaporization path for heating said vaporization path.
- 3. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said vaporization path is formed in a capillary tube.
- 4. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said vaporization path includes an annular portion having an annular cross-section.
- 5. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said heating component is arranged at said vaporization path so as to provide heat to said vaporization path from a position at an interior of said vaporization path and from a position at an exterior of said vaporization path.
- 6. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said vaporization path includes a vaporization promoting region comprising a narrow flow passage, and includes a pressure buffer region comprising a wide flow passage, said vaporization promotion region being adjacent to said pressure buffer region.
- 7. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said annular portion having an annular cross-section includes an outer tube and a core member disposed in said outer tube.
- 8. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said core member has an internal heating device.
- 9. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said core member is movable in an axial direction of said outer tube.
- 10. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said core member is removable from said outer tube so as to facilitate cleaning of said vaporization path by introducing a cleaning agent or carrier gas thereto.
- 11. A vaporization apparatus according of claim 9, wherein said core member is movable in said outer tube to enlarge a clearance between said core member and said outer tube so, as to facilitate cleaning of said vaporization path by introducing a cleaning agent or carrier gas thereto.
- 12. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said annular cross-section comprises a tapered region enlarging along the flow direction.
- 13. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said heating component comprises a jacket member surrounding said vaporization path for receiving a thermal fluid medium therein.
- 14. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said heating component includes a heater member disposed in a vicinity of said vaporization path.
- 15. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said jacket member includes a thermal medium passage for supplying the thermal fluid medium.
- 16. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said vaporization prevention component is constructed so as to prevent heat generated in said vaporization path from affecting said liquid feed in said vaporization prevention component.
- 17. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 16, wherein said vaporization prevention component includes at least one of a constriction section, an orifice, a one-way valve or a shutoff valve.
- 18. A vaporization apparatus according to claim 16, wherein said vaporization prevention component includes a one-way valve, said one-way valve having a drive member disposed on an upstream side for pressing a valve member against a valve seat.
