Claims
- 1. A metal powder comprising an electroconductive metal having rare earth metal hydroxide particles on the surface of and in the inside thereof.
- 2. A metal powder according to claim 1, wherein said rare earth metal hydroxide particles are adsorbed on substantially the whole surface of said electroconductive metal powder.
- 3. A metal powder according to claim 1, wherein said electroconductive metal is at least one member selected from the group consisting of palladium, copper and nickel.
- 4. A metal powder according to claim 3, wherein the average particle size is about 40 to 100 nm.
- 5. An electroconductive paste comprising a metal powder according to claim 1 and a vehicle.
- 6. A multilayer ceramic electronic component, comprising:
a ceramic laminate having edge surfaces and comprising a plurality of ceramic layers; a plurality of internal electrodes, each of which is disposed between a pair of said ceramic layers such that one edge of the electrode is exposed at one edge surface of said laminate; and an external electrode electrically connected to an exposed edge of an internal electrode, wherein said internal electrodes comprise a metal according to claim 1.
- 7. A multilayer ceramic electronic component according to claim 6, wherein said multilayer ceramic electronic component is a multilayer ceramic capacitor.
