Claims
- 1. Eukaryotic cells which have been transfected with DNA sequences which encode for the heavy and light variable domains of anti-RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) F-protein human monoclonal antibody either RF-1 or RF-2.
- 2. The cells of claim 1 wherein said eukaryotic cells are CHO cells.
- 3. The eukaryotic cells of claim 1 wherein said DNA sequences are selected from the DNA sequences set forth in any one of FIGS. 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b, 11a and 11b.
- 4. An Epstein-Barr immortalized B cell line which secretes a human monoclonal antibody which possesses an affinity (Kd) for the RSV respiratory Syncytial virus fusion protein of about 2.times.10.sup.-9 to 10.sup.-10 molar.
- 5. The cell line of claim 4 wherein said antibody neutralizes RSV in vitro.
- 6. The cell line of claim 4 wherein said cell line is selected from the group consisting of RF-1 and RF-2.
- 7. A DNA sequence which encodes for the variable heavy and/or variable light domain of anti-RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) F-protein human monoclonal antibody RF-1 or RF-2.
- 8. An expression vector which provides for the expression of a DNA sequence according to claim 7.
- 9. The DNA sequence of claim 7 which is selected from the group consisting of the DNA sequences set forth in FIGS. 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b, 10a and 10b.
