Claims
- 1. A radiographic product comprised of a support and coated on the support,
- (i) at least one photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer containing photosensitive tabular silver halide grains, said grains having adsorbed thereon a spectral sensitizing dye having an absorption peak in the wavelength range from 400 to 500 nm, and having one of the following formulae A-I: ##STR9## and (ii) located in a hydrophilic colloid layer between the support and the hydrophilic colloid layer containing the tabular silver halide grains, an amount from 0.05 to 2 mg/dm.sup.2 of a 4,4'-diaminostilbene optical brightener having one of the following formulae: ##STR10##
- 2. The radiographic product of claim 1, wherein the spectral sensitizing dye is a monomethine cyanine dye.
- 3. The radiographic product of claim 1, wherein the amount of 4,4'-diaminostilbene optical brightener is in the range of from about 0.5 to about 1.5 mg/dm.sup.2.
- 4. A radiographic system comprised of at least one X-ray intensifying screen, having a maximum emission between 360 and 500 nm, and the radiographic product according to claim 1.
