Claims
- 1. A resin laminate comprising two biaxially stretched layers of a styrene-based polymer selected from the group consisting of polystyrene, poly(alkylstyrene), poly(halogenated styrene), poly(alkoxy styrene), poly(vinyl benzoate) and mixtures thereof, having mainly a syndiotactic configuration, such that the proportion of diad is at least 75% or the proportion of racemic pentad is at least 30% as determined by .sup.13 C-NMR, and a thermoplastic resin layer therebetween selected from the group consisting of polyesters, polyphenylene sulfides, polycarbonates and polyamides.
- 2. The laminate claimed in claim 1, wherein a weight average molecular weight of the styrene-based polymer is 10,000 to 4,000,000.
- 3. The laminate claimed 1 wherein a layer of styrene-based polymer having mainly syndiotactic configuration is 2 to 500 .mu.m in thickness.
- 4. The laminate claimed in claim 1, wherein the thermoplastic resin is a polyester resin.
- 5. A resin laminate comprising two biaxially stretched layers of a styrene-based polymer selected from the group consisting of polystyrene, poly(alkylstyrene), poly(halogenated styrene), poly(alkoxy styrene), poly(vinyl benzoate) and mixtures thereof, having mainly a syndiotactic configuration, such that the proportion of diad is at least 75% or the proportion of racemic pentad is at least 30% as determined by .sup.13 C-NMR, a metal layer and a thermoplastic resin layer therebetween.
- 6. The laminate claimed in claim 5, wherein a weight average molecular weight of the styrene-based polymer is 50,000 to 3,000,000.
- 7. The laminate claimed in claim 5, wherein a layer of styrene-based polymer having mainly syndiotactic configuration is 0.5 to 500 .mu.m in thickness.
- 8. The resin laminate claimed in claim 7, wherein the thermoplastic resin layer is a layer of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyphenylene sulfide resin, polyamide resin and polycarbonate resin.
- 9. The resin laminate claimed in claim 5, wherein the thermoplastic layer is a layer of polyester resin.
- 10. The resin laminate of claim 1 or 5 which has been further subjected to heat treatment which comprises heating the laminate in the range of between a temperature of 20.degree. C. higher than glass transition temperature of the styrene-based polymer and a temperature of 5.degree. C. lower than the melting temperature thereof.
