Claims
- 1. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(1): ##STR99## wherein A is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of radicals having the formulas: ##STR100## wherein X is a direct bond, a divalent hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, hexafluorinated isopropylidene, carbonyl, thio or sulfonyl, and Y.sub.1 .about.Y.sub.4 are individually hydrogen atom, lower alkyl radical, lower alkoxy radical, chlorine or bromine atom, ##STR101## and R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 2. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(2): ##STR102## wherein X is a direct bond, a divalent hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, hexafluorinated isopropylidene, carbonyl, thio or sulfonyl, Y.sub.1 .about.Y.sub.4 are individually hydrogen, lower alkyl radical, lower alkoxy radical, chlorine or bromine atom, and R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 3. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(3): ##STR103## wherein R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 4. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(4): ##STR104## wherein R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 5. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(5): ##STR105## wherein R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 6. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(6): ##STR106## wherein R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
- 7. A bisimide compound represented by the formula(7): ##STR107## wherein X is a direct bond, a divalent hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, hexafluorinated isopropylidene, carbonyl, thio or sulfonyl, Y.sub.1 .about.Y.sub.4 are individually hydrogen, lower alkyl radical, lower alkoxy radical, chlorine or bromine atom, and R is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of a monoaromatic radical, condensed polyaromatic radical and noncondensed aromatic radical connected to each other with a direct bond or a bridge member.
