Claims
- 1. A capacitance type accelerometer comprising:
- a first plate made of silicon and formed with a movable electrode part which is supported by a silicon beam and is moved in accordance with acceleration, the movable electrode part of the first plate having a lead-out part;
- a pair of second plates respectively having fixed electrodes thereon disposed so as to respectively face the movable electrode part with a certain separation distance, the fixed electrode plates of the pair of second plates having respective lead-out parts; and
- a signal processing circuit for processing an electric signal generated between the lead-out part of first plate and the lead-out parts of the pair of second plates due to the acceleration;
- wherein the first plate and the pair of second plates are laminated, and the lead-out part of the movable electrode part of the first plate and the lead-out parts of the pair of second plates are diced so as to have a common side plane and are electrically connected to the signal processing circuit.
- 2. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 1, wherein an electrical pad of the lead-out part of the first plate and electrical pads of the lead-out parts of the pair of second plates are disposed on one of the common side plane and another common plane of the capacitance type accelerometer extending transversely to the common side plane.
- 3. A capacitance type accelerometer comprising:
- a first plate made of silicon and formed with a movable electrode part which is supported by a silicon beam and is moved in accordance with acceleration;
- a pair of second plates made of glass and respectively having fixed electrodes thereon disposed so as to respectively face the movable electrode part with a certain separation distance;
- a pair of third plates respectively disposed on opposite sides of the pair of second plates with respect to the first plate and respectively connected to the fixed electrode plates of the pair of second plates with electrically conductive members; and
- a signal processing circuit for processing an electric signal generated between the first plate and the pair of second plates due to the acceleration;
- wherein the first plate and the pair of second plates are diced so as to have a common side plane, and the first plate and the fixed electrode of the pair of second plates are electrically connected to the signal processing circuit.
- 4. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 3, wherein conductive means provided in the pair of second plates enable electrical connection between the pair of third plates and the fixed electrodes.
- 5. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 4, wherein the conductive means are respectively provided at a position between the movable electrode part and a contacting position of the first plate and the pair of second plates.
- 6. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 4, wherein the conductive means are respectively provided at positions facing to the silicon beam.
- 7. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 6, wherein the conductive means include conductive portions provided at end portions of the first and the pair of third plates.
- 8. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 3, wherein the pair of third plates are made of silicon.
- 9. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 3, wherein the pair of third plates is diced to have the same common side plane as the first plate and the pair of second plates.
- 10. A capacitance type accelerometer as defined in claim 3, wherein the first plate, the pair of second plates and the pair of third plates have lead-out parts for electrical connection to the signal processing circuit proximate to the common side plane.
