Claims
- 1. A method for forming a radiation enhancing component for imaging an object comprising:applying a binder layer having a first optical index and a predetermined thickness to a screen, wherein the screen is capable of converting non-visible radiation into visible radiation; and spraying the binder layer with a layer of microspheres, the layer of microspheres having a second optical index and the microspheres each having a predetermined focal point, wherein the layer of microspheres enhances the visible radiation.
- 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the second optical index is higher than the, first optical index.
- 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the non-visible radiation is x-ray radiation.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the binder layer is applied by spraying the binder layer onto the screen.
- 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the radiation enhancing component concentrates the visible radiation.
- 6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the radiation enhancing component brightens the visible radiation.
- 7. The method according to claim 1, wherein the predetermined thickness of the binder layer is approximately equal to the predetermined focal point of each of the microspheres.
