Claims
- 1. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a DNA sequence selected from the group consisting of:a) the coding region of SEQ ID NO:6; and b) DNA that hybridizes under moderately stringent conditions to the DNA of a), wherein the moderately stringent conditions include 50% formamide an 6×SSC, at 42° C. with washing conditions of 60° C., 0.5×SSC, 0.1% SDS, and, wherein the DNA encodes a polypeptide that is a cofactor in IL-18 binding.
- 2. An isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a polypeptide, wherein said polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence that is at least 90% identical to SEQ ID NO:7 and the polypeptide is a cofactor in IL-18 binding.
- 3. A recombinant expression vector comprising DNA of claim 2.
- 4. A process for preparing a polypeptide, the process comprising culturing a host cell transformed with an expression vector of claim 3 under conditions that promote expression of the polypeptide.
- 5. A host cell transformed or transfected with an expression vector according to claim 3.
- 6. An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleic acid that encodes a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO:7.
- 7. The isolate nucleic acid molecule of claim 6 comprising the coding region of SEQ ID NO:6.
- 8. An isolated nucleic acid encoding a soluble polypeptide, wherein said soluble polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence that is at least 90% identical to amino acids x1 to 356 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein x1 is amino acid 1 or 15, and wherein the soluble polypeptide is a cofactor in IL-18 binding.
- 9. The isolated nucleic acid of claim 8 encoding a soluble polypeptide comprising amino acids x1 to 356 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein x1 is amino acid 1 or 15.
- 10. An isolated nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide comprising amino acids x1 to 356 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein x1 is amino acid 1 or 15.
- 11. An isolated nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO:7.
- 12. An isolated nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide comprising amino acids x1 to 356 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein x1 is amino acid 1 or 15.
