Claims
- 1. A photosensitive paste comprising inorganic particles and an organic component comprising an alkaline aqueous solution-developable photosensitive compound, wherein an average refractive index of the inorganic particles, N1, and an average refractive index of the organic component, N2, satisfy the following equation:−0.05≦N2−N1≦0.2 wherein said photosensitive paste is capable of forming a barrier rib and said inorganic particles contain 60 wt. % or more glass particles having a thermal softening temperature (Ts) of 350-600° C.
- 2. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the average refractive index of the inorganic particles, N1, and the average refractive index of the organic component, N2, satisfy the following equation:−0.05≦N1−N2≦0.1.
- 3. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein an average refractive index of the inorganic particles is in the range of 1.5-1.7.
- 4. A photosensitive paste according to claim 3, wherein the average refractive index of the inorganic particles is in the range of 1.55-1.65.
- 5. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3 comprising 50-98 parts by weight of inorganic particles and 5-50 parts by weight of the organic component.
- 6. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the glass particles have a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 50-90×10−7.
- 7. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the glass particles have a sphericity coefficient of 80 percent or more.
- 8. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the glass particles contain at least one of lithium oxide, sodium oxide or potassium oxide with their total content of 3-20 wt. %.
- 9. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the glass particles contain 3-20 wt. % of lithium oxide.
- 10. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the glass particles contain at least one oxide of bismuth or lead and the total content of said at least one oxide is 5-50 wt. % of the glass particles.
- 11. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the glass particles contain at least one oxide of bismuth or lead with a total content of said at least one oxide of 5-30 wt. % of the glass particles and wherein the particles also contain at least one additional oxide of lithium, sodium or potassium with a total content of said at least one additional oxide of 3-15 wt. %.
- 12. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the glass particles contain 3-60 wt. % of silicon oxide and 5-50 wt. % of boron oxide.
- 13. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1, wherein the glass particles contain 3-60 wt. % of silicon oxide, 5-50 wt. % of boron oxide, 1-30 wt. % of barium oxide, and 1-30 wt. % of aluminum oxide.
- 14. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains 10-90 wt. % of an oligomer or a polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 500-100,000, which oligomer or polymer has a carboxyl group in its molecular structure.
- 15. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains 10-90 wt. % of an oligomer or a polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 500-100,000, which oligomer or polymer has an unsaturated double bond in its molecular structure.
- 16. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains 10-90 wt. % of an oligomer or a polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 500-100,000, which oligomer or polymer has a carboxyl group or an unsaturated double bond in its molecular structure.
- 17. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains 10-80 wt. % of a multifunctional acrylate compound and/or methacrylate compound.
- 18. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains at least one selected from the group consisting of benzene ring, naphthalene ring and sulfur atom with a total content of 10-60 wt. %.
- 19. A photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the organic component contains 0.05-5 wt. % of a compound that can absorb ultraviolet ray.
- 20. A photosensitive paste according to claim 19, wherein the compound that can absorb ultraviolet ray is an organic dye or an organic pigment.
- 21. A photosensitive paste according to claim 20, wherein the organic dye or the organic pigment is a red dye or a red pigment.
- 22. The photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein said photosensitive paste is capable of being used in a plasma display panel, said plasma display panel is an embodiment selected from the group consisting of a matrix-addressed plasma liquid crystal display, a high-definition TV and a computer display.
- 23. The photosensitive paste according to claim 1 or 3, wherein the photosensitive resin is further capable of forming an adjacent barrier rib with a spacer width of 20-40 μm between said barrier rib and said adjacent barrier rib.
