- 16. The method of claim 13 further comprising forming the male connector from electrically conductive sheet material.
- 17. The method of claim 16 further comprising forming the post member of the male connector to be generally cylindrical, the post member including a distal end with a concave portion through which the opening extends, the post member being angled radially outward moving toward the distal end.
- 18. The method of claim 17 further comprising forming the male connector with a generally planar disk shaped foot portion extending radially from the post member.
- 19. The method of claim 18 further comprising forming a layer of solder below the foot portion for soldering the male connector to a surface.
- 20. The method of claim 17 further comprising forming the male connector with a generally planar base member extending radially outward from the post member, the base member having a generally circular shape.
- 21. The method of claim 20 further comprising forming a layer of solder on a bottom surface of the base member for soldering the male connector to a surface.
- 22. A method of forming an electrical connector system comprising:
forming a connector from conductive sheet material including a hollow post member having a distal end, the distal end having a wall with an opening extending therethough, a generally planar disk shaped foot portion extending radially outward from the post member, and a layer of solder being located below the foot portion for soldering the electrical connector to a surface; and providing a threaded member for insertion through the opening in the wall of the distal end of the hollow post member.
- 23. A method of forming an electrical connector system comprising:
forming a connector from conductive sheet material including a hollow post member having a distal end, the distal end having a wall with an opening extending therethrough, a generally planar base member extending radially outward from the post member, and a layer of solder being located on a bottom surface of the base member for soldering the electrical connector to a surface; and providing a threaded member for insertion through the opening in the wall of the distal end of the hollow post member.
