Claims
- 1. A micro-mechanical device comprising a support substrate, a floating structure separated from the substrate and at least one suspension beam connecting the floating structure to the substrate, characterised in that the beam has lateral edges provided with rigidity linings extending along the beam and in planes approximately perpendicular to the beam.
- 2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the floating structure also has lateral edges provided with rigidity linings, said rigidity linings forming a frame.
- 3. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the beam comprises at least one layer of material chosen from among the following materials: silicon, silicon oxide, silicon nitride and a metal.
- 4. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the beam comprises an alternating stacking of at least one layer of electrically conducting material and at least one layer of electrically insulating material.
- 5. A device according to claim 4, characterised in that the rigidity linings comprise parts made of an electrically insulating material at least in areas in contact with said layer of electrically conducting material in the stack.
- 6. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the linings are made of a material chosen from among silicon oxide, silicon nitride, silicon and the metals.
- 7. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the floating structure is the sensitive part of a micro-bolometer.
