Claims
- 1. A photopatternable composite, comprising
- a photopolymerizable layer between a release paper and a baseless emulsion layer having high gamma and high contrast at low energy exposure, the release paper being peelable from said photopolymerizable layer, said photopolymerizable and emulsion layers being separated by a cover sheet peelably releasable from said photopolymerizable layer.
- 2. The composite of claim 1, wherein said release paper is double-sided.
- 3. A method of making a photopatternable composite comprising
- applying a photoprocessable layer sensitive to a first spectrum of directed energy to one side of a strippable cover sheet transparent to said first spectrum,
- applying to the other side of said cover sheet a baseless adherent emulsion layer having high gamma and high contrast at low energy exposure to which said photoprocessable layer is relatively insensitive and removable from said photoprocessable layer along with said cover sheet, and
- applying a strippable release paper to one side of the composite formed of said cover sheet, photoprocessable layer and emulsion layer.
- 4. The method of claim 3, further comprising
- applying another strippable release paper to the other side of the composite comprising said cover sheet, emulsion layer and photoprocessable layer.
