Claims
- 1. A component mounting assembly comprising a plurality of component mounting apparatuses connected to each other so as to provide a board transfer path along which a board is to be transferred, each of said plurality of component mounting apparatuses comprising:
a pair of component supply tables for accommodating components, said component supply tables being arranged on both sides of a board mounting position in the board transfer path, respectively; and a pair of mounting head sections each having component suction nozzles for picking up the components from said component supply tables and mounting the picked-up components onto a board while at the board mounting position, wherein said component suction nozzles of each of said mounting head sections are rotatably supported around an axis.
- 2. The component mounting assembly according to claim 1, wherein said component mounting apparatuses are aligned such that the board transfer path defines a straight line.
- 3. The component mounting assembly according to claim 2, wherein one of said component supply tables is positioned on one side of the board transfer path, and the other of said component supply tables is positioned on the other side of the board transfer path.
- 4. The component mounting assembly according to claim 1, wherein said component suction nozzles of each of said mounting head sections are provided at regular intervals around the axis.
- 5. The component mounting assembly according to claim 1, wherein said component suction nozzles of each of said mounting head sections are rotatably supported around a horizontal axis.
- 6. The component mounting assembly according to claim 1, wherein each of said mounting head sections is movable in two mutually perpendicular directions which define a plane that is parallel with the board transfer path.
