Claims
- 1. A grounding terminal for mounting to a printed circuit board and engagement with a grounding conductor, the grounding terminal comprising:a joint part having a joint surface for soldering the grounding terminal to a conductive pattern on a printed circuit board; a contact part extending from and being connected to the joint part via a bending part, the contact part bending back over the joint surface and being configured to facilitate engagement with a grounding conductor, and the contact part being elastically deformable toward a rear surface of the joint surface upon engaging with a grounding conductor; and a receiving part for receiving an end portion of the contact part, the receiving part disposed on the opposite side of the bending part and including at least a portion of the joint part, an opposite portion over the portion of the joint part and facing the joint part, and a linking portion for linking the portion of the joint part to a part of the opposite portion; the opposite portion comprising means for preventing the contact part from coming out of the receiving part when no load is imposed on the contact part.
- 2. The grounding terminal according to claim 1, wherein the grounding terminal further comprises a guiding part extending in the vertical direction by the side of the contact part, for guiding and restricting the movement of the contact part.
- 3. The grounding terminal according to claim 1, wherein the grounding terminal further comprises a restriction part contacting with the joint part, once the contact part is deformed to a predetermined extent, to restrict further elastic deformation of the contact part.
- 4. The grounding terminal according to claim 1, wherein the bending part is formed a predetermined distance away from the joint surface of the joint part.
- 5. A grounding terminal for mounting to a printed circuit board and engagement with a grounding conductor, the grounding terminal comprising:a joint part having a joint surface for soldering the grounding terminal to a conductive pattern on a printed circuit board; a contact part extending from and being connected to the joint part via a bending part, the contact part bending back over the joint surface and being configured to facilitate engagement with a grounding conductor, and the contact part being elastically deformable toward a rear surface of the joint surface upon engaging with a grounding conductor; and a substantially U-shaped part extends from and is connected to the joint part on the opposite side of the bonding part, the substantially U-shaped part defining a receiving space for receiving an end portion of the contact part, and the substantially U-shaped part comprising means for preventing the contact part from coming out of the receiving part when no load is imposed on the contact part.
- 6. The grounding terminal according to claim 5, wherein the grounding terminal further comprises a guiding part extending from and being connected to one leg portion of the substantially U-shaped part, and the guiding part guiding and restricting the movement of the contact part.
- 7. The grounding terminal according to claim 5, wherein the grounding terminal further comprises a restriction part contacting with the joint part, once the contact part is deformed to a predetermined extent to restrict further elastic deformation of the contact part.
- 8. The grounding terminal according to claim 5, wherein the bending part is formed a predetermined distance away from the joint surface of the joint part.
