Claims
- 1. A method for using a latched sense amplifier as a high speed memory in an independent memory module, the memory module being one of a plurality of memory modules in a memory system, comprising the acts of:arranging a plurality of memory arrays to form the independent memory module; coupling the memory modules together with a bus; and providing a line having a plurality of sense amplifiers for each memory array; wherein the memory system provides at least 100 lines with no more than two megabytes of capacity in the memory modules.
