Claims
- 1. A method of packaging a surface-mount resin molded semiconductor device, comprising the steps of:
- molding a semiconductor chip, and inner portions of leads electrically connected to said chip, by resin so as to form said resin molded semiconductor device, said resin molded semiconductor device to be surface-mounted on a printed circuit board;
- after said molding, baking said semiconductor device;
- after said baking step is complete, and prior to mounting on the printed circuit board, sealing air-tightly said semiconductor device and a desiccant in a moisture-proofing bag member, which is made of multi-layered film, said sealing being performed before intrusion of moisture into said resin molded semiconductor device.
- 2. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, which further comprises:
- sealing a humidity indicator, for detecting the humidity inside of said bag member, in said moisture-proofing bag member with said semiconductor device.
- 3. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein said multi-layered film of said moisture-proofing bag member includes a vinylidene chloride film.
- 4. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein said multi-layered film of said moisture-proofing bag member includes a polyethylene film as an innermost layer of said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 5. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 4, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member is sealed by applying heat to said polyethylene film .
- 6. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 4, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member is press-sealed.
- 7. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 6, wherein said bag member is press-sealed while an ultrasonic wave is being applied thereto.
- 8. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 6, wherein said bag member is press-sealed while heat is being applied thereto.
- 9. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, which further comprises:
- storing said semiconductor device in a magazine before said sealing step.
- 10. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 9, which further comprises:
- storing said magazine in an interior box before said sealing step.
- 11. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, which further comprises:
- storing said semiconductor device in a tray before said sealing step.
- 12. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, which further comprises:
- storing said tray in an interior box before said sealing step.
- 13. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, which further comprises:
- storing said moisture-proofing bag member in an exterior box after sealing said surface-mount semiconductor device into said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 14. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 13, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member is directly stored in said exterior box without using an interior box.
- 15. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein a surface intrinsic resistance of an outer surface of the moisture-proofing bag member is up to 10.sup.6 ohms, and a surface intrinsic resistance of an inner surface of the moisture-proofing bag member is up to 10.sup.11 ohms.
- 16. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein said multi-layered film of said moisture-proofing bag member has a first charge preventing layer as an innermost layer of said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 17. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 16, wherein said first charge preventing layer is a polyethylene layer containing an antistatic agent.
- 18. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 16, which further comprises:
- storing said semiconductor device in a conveying auxiliary member before said sealing step.
- 19. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 18, wherein said conveying auxiliary member is a magazine.
- 20. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 18, wherein said conveying auxiliary member is a tray.
- 21. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 18, which further comprises:
- storing said moisture-proofing bag member in an exterior box after sealing said semiconductor device into said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 22. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 21, wherein said conveying auxiliary member is directly sealed into said moisture-proofing bag member without using an interior box.
- 23. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 16, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member has a second charge preventing layer outside of said first charge preventing layer, with a polyester film between the first and second charge preventing layers.
- 24. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 23, which further comprises:
- storing said moisture-proofing bag member n an exterior box after sealing said semiconductor device into said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 25. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein said multi-layered film of said moisture-proofing bag member has a barrier layer for preventing intrusion of moisture.
- 26. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 25, wherein said multi-layered film of said moisture-proofing bag member has two charge preventing layers, one of said charge preventing layers being inside of said barrier layer, and the other of said charge preventing layers being outside of said barrier layer.
- 27. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 25, wherein said barrier layer is made of vinylidene chloride.
- 28. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 25, which further comprises:
- storing said moisture-proofing bag member in an exterior box after sealing said semiconductor device into said moisture-proofing bag member.
- 29. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 28, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member is directly stored in said exterior box without using an interior box.
- 30. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein the baked semiconductor device is sealed in said moisture-proofing bag member within a few days after the baking step is completed.
- 31. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 1, wherein the baked semiconductor device is sealed in said moisture-proofing bag member within a few hours after the baking step is completed.
- 32. A method of packaging a surface-mount resin molded semiconductor device, comprising the steps of:
- molding a semiconductor chip, and inner portions of leads electrically connected to the chip, by resin so as to form said resin molded semiconductor device, said resin molded semiconductor device to be surface-mounted on a printed circuit board;
- after said molding, baking said semiconductor device; and
- after said baking step is completed, and prior to mounting on the printed circuit board, sealing said semiconductor device in a moisture-proofing bag member, said sealing being performed before intrusion of moisture into said resin molded semiconductor device.
- 33. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 32, wherein the baked semiconductor device is sealed in said moisture-proofing bag member within a few days after the baking step is completed.
- 34. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 32, wherein the baked semiconductor device is sealed in said moisture-proofing bag member within a few hours after the baking step is completed.
- 35. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 32, wherein said moisture-proofing bag member is made of multi-layered film.
- 36. A method of packaging the semiconductor device according to claim 32, wherein the semiconductor device is air-tightly sealed in the moisture-proofing bag member.
